Most smoke detectors have a single 9 volt battery in them. It is the square type that snaps onto the circuit. You should replace them twice a year, one recommended timing is to swap them out when you change your clocks.
what size battery for 2G1G smoke alarm
2G1G@GC2 Security & Automation System
kW = I x E x pf/1000. Take this figure and multiply it by the amount of hours that the smoke detector is in operation. pf = power factor.
Hey there, I had this problem, do you live in a apartment block? If so, it is most likely connected to a main system, but the individual alarms still have 9v batteries in them to protect against power cuts, this battery is running low and needs replacing Or you can do what I did and just rip them off the ceiling in anger. If you exahale cabone monoxide you will take in more chemicals with it. it can hurt or even kill you if you smoke . Its the #1 killer in the u.s SO DONT SMOKE!!

It takes 100 years for a battery to decompose.
Push the button, or take the battery's out (not recommended) In many modern smoke alarms it is impossible to remove the battery, but there may be an on/off switch that can be actuated with a tool. If the alarm is beeping because the battery is dead, replace the battery or the entire alarm unit, which should be done every ten years anyway. Removing a battery in any smoke detector could be criminal "tampering", if anyone gets hurt because of it.
One of the most important safety measures homeowners can take is to install a functional smoke detector. These simple devices can truly save lives, if they are installed and used properly. The biggest problem with battery powered smoke detectors is that they stop working after the battery life expires. Therefore, it is essential that homeowners regularly check if the battery is working and replace it if necessary. Usually, there should be an LED indicator and sound alert when the battery is running low. By contrast, a hardwired smoke detector works most of the time but it is vulnerable to power outages and can't offer protection in vulnerable situations when the lights go out.
if you take the smoke detector down there should be a list of of light and sound sequences refer to that.

For a battery-operated smoke detector, you simply remove the battery. For a mains-powered smoke detector, the only way to disable it is to disable the mains power running to it.However, both of these methods are not recommended, as people tend to forget to turn them back on. Instead, open a window and run a fan to evacuate the smoke.

depends how much you smoke and of what kind you smoke. anything below in the reggie and mid range will take 30 days any kind higher in THC levels will take longer.
Take the old dead battery out and look closely at it. The Type is written on the battery.
Anyplace that sells batteries can tell you the correct size battery you need.
The 3DS uses a proprietary battery made specially for it by Nintendo. Therefore the only battery it takes is a 'Nintendo 3DS' rechargable battery.
It takes four AAA batteries.
Some smoke detectors use ionizing radiation to sense smoke and it can become confused with water vapor (steam), which is why ionizing smoke detectors are not allowed anywhere near sources of steam. Try replacing it with a photo-electric detector and make sure it's outside of the immediate area of the shower (i.e., in the bedroom or out in the hallway).
