A mesomorph is someone who is characterized as putting on muscle mass easily and having a pretty big/stocky/muscular build.. There are two other categories of this "morpholog…y":. Endomorphs->these people tend to be characterized by being heavier and having more bodyfat, and probably a more undesirable build i.e. wide waist and narrow shoulders. Ectomorphs are those who tend to be very slim and very lean by nature, they have a harder time putting on weight and muscle.. An example of each in terms of football....a linebacker would be more of a mesomorph, a offensive lineman (typically) would be an endomorph, and an ectomorph would be a taller skinnier wide reciever.

Mesomorphic, in the context of this question and in this topic, refers to people who have a generous amount of muscle and large bone build. Typically, they have shoulders that… are wider than their waists (think of a professional body builder, whose upper body is shaped like a "V").
Mesomorphs are people who are sturdy and strong and their bones and muscles are highly developed. You could call these people highly exercised men and women.
