What is the lowest score you can get on the LSAT?
Some people believe that anything less than 145 is too low for acceptance into law school and that you would most likely need to be over 152 to broaden your school choice. However, some schools accept scores even lower than 145 depending on other factors including your undergraduate GPA and past experiences - I know of people who were accepted with scores in the low 130s. It depends on the school's average LSAT scores and the overall strength of the rest of your application.

Check law school rankings, which will show you the 25-75% range for a particular school. I'd work on getting that LSAT score up, though. A 3.85 GPA generally correlates with a higher LSAT score. None that will actually get you a job as a lawyer when you graduate. Unless you want to go to law school for fun, study hard and retake the LSAT.
The LSAT Problems?
When it's time to take the Law School Admissions Test, which is the LSAT, it can make any student nervous since this test will show if that student will qualify for a career in Law. This standardized test needs to be taken by all applicants of every law school. When the application for law school is filled out, the LSAT score is one of the most important parts of that application. The LSAT score will also determine which law school the student will be qualified to attend. The test scores run from 120 to 180. It is almost impossible to get a perfect score of 180, although it has been done very rarely. For a student to attend a law school such as Stanford, Yale or Harvard, the score should be at least in the low 170s. More than half of the scores average between 145 and 160. This test is available four times a year; February, June, October and December. It is necessary to register before the deadline of at least one month prior to the test date. One problem of the test, however, is how expensive it is to register. If the student registers on time, the test will cost $123 per test. If the registration is made too late, there will be at least another charge of $62. The LSAT is a test of logical reasoning needed to be a success at law school and beyond. There are five sections which include two with logic problems, one reading comprehension, one with logic games and one that is experimental and doesn't count for or against the test score. A problem about the experimental section is that it is not always clear which section is the experimental one. The key to the LSAT is to solve the logic problems very quickly. Speed is what brings up the score. The logic problems could be solved by any law student if they had an entire day, but these problems need to be solved fast. There may be only 25 minutes allotted to solve 24 puzzles of logic. Another problem with LSAT is that the score is not known before the student chooses which schools to apply to. So, if the student would like to apply to Yale and doesn't meet the low 170s in the score, that student must choose another law school.
How hard is the LSAT?
The LSAT is very difficult, but it is manageable. The reason for its difficulty is that formal education does not teach you how to answer the questions on the LSAT. The LSAT is intended to test the logical reasoning and writing skills of the test taker. I recommend spending significant amounts of time preparing for the test using Prep Test Courses. These courses will assist you in answering the types of questions normally asked on the LSAT. Remember, the LSAT, like the entirety of Law School, is a competition.
