JH1200 - Jack Hammer 1200watts - Mono Block Class D - Can wire two subs at 2ohms - Or 1 sub at 1ohms - I recommend using this amp for your TS5512X2D - It will blow you away - And don't forget to buy a capacitor - I'm using a 5 Farad Cap with the JH1200 and TS5512X2D - A normal rule of thumb is 1 Farad for every 1000 watts - I got the 5 Farad because it was only $10 more than the 3, but a 2 Farad should work just fine...
They can but youll need a speaker, best thing is an amp head designed for guitar.
It depends on the model speaker. The speaker has an RMS amperage rating used for choosing the amp size needed. You would want to choose the upper number if there is a range. For example 50-200 rms watts, choose an amp with 200 watts. It is worse for the speaker to have too little than too many amps. Crutchfield even recommends 75%-150% of the RMS rating. You will also need to know the OHMs of the speaker when choosing the amp. There are sub woofers rating at 2 and other rated for 4 OHMS and have different amp requirements.
There are 4 amps, one on each speaker, the speaker is in an enclosure with the amp built into it.
You'll need RCA style cables to connect from your headunit to the amp. You'll then need Speaker Wire to run from the outputs of the Amp to the speaker terminals. You'll also need a heavy gauge power wire. A wiring kit such as the StreetWires Power Station PSK04Ri 4-gauge amplifier wiring kit.
The RCA's from the amp will be arn to the CD player, then you need to connect the speaker's wire to the output + and - of the amp, this will cause the amp to have musical power from your radio, and the speakers to have the power from the amp..-Shocker
it depends on your speaker wattage.
Yes you can from amp wire the first speaker + & - then from that speaker run wires to the + & - to 2nd sub just need to watch Ohm load make sure your amp can handle it.
no i have a 1993 the amp that's in there is just for the four speaker you can run a amp kit for you twelves but don't forget that wiring kit you will need to power the amp that is in there jbl
