It was rumored that Charles Manson tried out for Monkees, but this was not true. He wrote song and one of them wasn't written for the Beach Boys, but "Never Learn Not To Love" (on the Beach Boys' 20/20 album) was indeed written by Charles Manson, and for a brief time in 1968, about a year before the Tate-LaBianca murders, Manson and Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson were acquaintances.

Charles Manson's album?

Lie and Commemoration is the only album I could find as fact. There were individual songs that Manson tried to pedal, with some success. The Beach Boys recorded one of his songs on their 20/20 album as "Never Learn To Love". Guns n Roses recorded one of Manson's songs (medeocher) on their CD titled 'Spaghetti Incident'. Music was one of Manson's biggest disappointments, that I think had a hand in the 'Helter Skelter' buisiness. He was enraged because Terry Melcher rejected his music and had nothing to do with Manson after listening to his songs for just a few minutes. Manson was in turn angry at Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys. He felt Wilson let him down. When Wilson tried to explain that his part of the deal was to ask Melcher to listen to Manson's songs, which he did. Manson didn't see it this way, and there were rumors that Manson was going to have Wilson 'taken out'. A threat that Wilson took seriously.

When will charles manson movie be on tv again?

The most popular and in most opinions the best film on Manson is called Helter Skelter ,starring Steve Railsback as Manson. The movie was based on the True Crime Bestselling book of the same name written by Manson prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi. The best time to look for the airing of this movie is when one of the Manson gang are up for a parole hearing. Airing the movie keeps the crime fresh in the public's eye as a move to keep the murderers in prison. It is working, too. Manson has been up for parole many times but has always been denied because in part, public outcry. Sharon Tate's mother was at every parole hearing of Manson and the 3 women who were convicted with him until her recent death. Rumor has it that he is up for another parole hearing in 2010.

What Beach Boys song was written by Charles Manson?

Only in his dreams. Manson knew Dennis Wilson, one of the original brothers that made up the Beach Boys. Manson was hoping Wilson could use his connections to get Manson's music career going. Wilson did his part, he contacted record producer Terry Melcher (Doris Day's son) and Melcher gave Manson a listen. Melcher took a pass on Manson and his music and Wilson payed the price. Manson terrorized Wilson, was in fact living in Wilson's house, when he finally had to move out to get away from Manson. Manson and his 'family' trashed Wilson's house before they finally left, and Wilson had to keep a low profile, afraid of what Charlie would do to him. He had good reason to worry. Shortly after leaving Wilson's Malibu house, there were 5 murders in a house that was owned by Terry Melcher. The victims, actress Sharon Tate and friends. Tate was renting the house from Melcher and there is speculation that Manson was hoping to kill Melcher instead. It probably played a part in the choice of locations Manson picked for the murders.
