"Come out, come out, wherever you are" is the song that Glinda sings in "The Wizard of Oz."

Specifically, Glinda the Good sings the song after Dorothy Gale's house lands in Munchkinland and thereby kills the Wicked Witch of the East. Glinda is Oz's most powerful sorceress so she has nothing to fear about making her presence known to the visitor from over the rainbow. But the Munchkins can be said to be suffering from the post-trauma of rule by the Wicked Witch of the East and are more reluctant to show themselves.

"King of Beasts" in the book and "King of the Forest" in the film are the phrases that the Lion uses in "The World of Oz."

Specifically, the Lion believes himself unworthy to rule over the beasts of Oz. He aspires to be called "King of Beasts" in the original 1900 book edition of "The Wizard of Oz." He aims to be known as "King of the Forest" in the beloved 1939 film version. He acts as both at the end of the book, when he becomes King of Beasts in the Great Forest of southern Oz.
