This is more of a fashion-oriented question. When it comes to politicians, I would say no. Politicians are to wear one lapel pin: the American Flag.
I wear jewelry because: 1. Some pieces I made and I like them, 2. It is a simple way to help dress up and 3. I choose jewelry I enjoy looking at and when the day is tough I take a minute to appreciate the piece and ignore what is stressing me out.
