You can eat all types of pigs but some pigs taste better then some. The pig with the best tasting pork is a Berkshire, best tasting bacon is a large black you. There is a noticeable taste difference between each breed.

∙ 14y agoA pig is pretty much edible from start to finish with the exception of hair and bones. Most parts with names go into high grade products like ham, bacon, chops. Internal organs join flesh trimmings in sausage and patties. Muscles from the digestive system, lips and other "bits" are ground fine for hotdogs. Interstines become sausage skins or chitterlings. Ears go to dog chews. Skin to fried port rinds
