if youre trying to catch mesprit and the others on Pokemon pearl i suggest you use a master ball on mesperit and and ultra balls on the others because mesperit runs away if you use an ultra ball on it
moodduke:well i used a masterball on my dialga i don't no what to do now even even killed uxie and other one but im still trying to catch mesprit im getting into the dark when i get to her but when i use a dusk ball on it it comes out and runs

∙ 12y agoif you just want to catch it quickly use a quick ball before it flees. but if you get a Pokemon, say crobat, that knows mean look and you engage it in proper battle the timer ball or ultra ball is the best. off course the best pokeball for any Pokemon is the master ball but that is if you want to use it on mespirt.

∙ 13y agoif you get the pokemons HP into red and make it go to sleep or paralyz it you will beable to throw a dusk,ultra,quick or a timer ball to get the perfect capture.
or you could just use a masterball but whats the fun in that

Actually the best pokeball for the job is a regular Pokeball.
