Grover Cleveland's face appears on the US Thousand Dollar bill. He was the 22nd and 24th President.

US bills larger than $100 were last printed in 1945, and all from that printing carried a 1934 series date. In 1969 President Nixon issued an order halting further distribution of large-denomination as part of efforts to reduce money-laundering.

Large bills have never been officially recalled or demonetized and technically can still be spent, but in actuality almost all of them are worth more than face value in collectors.

I've seen a few Photoshopped pictures of Obama's face on a $1000 bill. That's about it. It wasn't even a very good 'shop job in that the bottom still reads 'CLEVELAND' (Grover Cleveland was on the $1000).

It is a long standing tradition in the USA that no living person be depicted on any coin or paper currency. The most recent president who can officially be on any currency is Ronald Reagan.

The Federal Reserve has also stopped printing extremely large currency denominations [$500 and up] in the 1940s due to lack of need for them. Nixon halted their use entirely in 1969 as a measure to reduce organized crime.
