Some of the programs enacted during the FDR presidency would be the New Deal, which was a series of economic programs. Congress passes the CCC, or Civilain Conservation Corps in 1933 which offered immediate work to 250k young men aged 18-25. This program concluded in 1941 and employed over two million young men. Others include taking the US off of the gold standard, Federal Emergency Relief Act, Tennessee Valley Act, Federal Securities Act, the National Industry Recovery Act and establishes the National Labor Board, among many more.

What is the minimum balance for which a credit card company will sue you?

There is no set amount that determines if a lawsuit will be inacted. One of the major factors is the collectibility of the debt. If the consumer/debtor has a job, non-exempt assests and lives in a state where the lender can recover legal expenses then a lawsuit is very likely. Several states allow arbitration as another of option of debt settlement/collection.

If a teacher is found guilty of assault will he be banned from teaching?

Laws governing this issue would be ones inacted by the state where the assault occurred. In most situations, the district school board makes the decisions to terminate teachers. In general any criminal offense is grounds for termination. In some states there is also a licensing board which decides if a teaching license can be suspended or permanently revoked.

Why did Democrats put a Ku Klux Klansman in the Presidential Line of Succession until he died in 2010?

Democrats have always been a racist party. The party formed to commit genocide on the American Indians with the "Trail of Tears." Then they promoted a war to keep and spread slavery to the western territories. President Franklin Roosevelt(D) sent 120,000 Asians to gulags during WWII and nominated a Ku Klux Klansman to sit on the US Supreme Court. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Democrats repeatedly put a Klansman in the line of Presidential Succession.

Main reason for World War 1?

The main reason for World War I was the system of protection treaties that were inacted by European countries before the war. When Archduke Ferdinand was murdered by a Serbian nationalist in Sarajevo, the Austrians presented extraordinary demands on Serbia that the Serbs had no choice but to refuse. When Austria resolved to attack Serbia, the treaties demanded that some of the signatories defend Serbia. Still other countries were required to defend Austria. This created a chain reaction that started this horrible war.

Can a person lose their home in New York if there is a 13000 lien on it and where can you find laws regarding this on the Internet?

Bankruptcy laws also apply to lawsuit judgments enforced as liens against real property. The homestead exemption for N.Y. is $10,000 (can be doubled for married homeowners)the exemption amount is designated above any liens or incumberances to the property. As of April 20. 2005 a new homestead exemption was inacted for those who have owned the property less than 3.3 years. That amount could be as much as $125,000.
