In the late 1800's, some of the most influential millionaires in America formed the Jekyll Island Club, a hunting club where they could get away from the pressures of their business ventures and let their hair down.

Of course, they did a lot of deals and politicking on the island, too.

In the early 1900's, a group of bankers and financiers met in secret of Jekyll Island and hashed out the early blueprint to what is now the Federal Reserve.
