The SEASON was spring
Answer:
Many ideas persist in this area, as The Bible doesn't advocate the "celebration of birthdays"... which is a pagan custom. Only two birthdays celebrations are recorded in the Bible.
One is Pharaoh's in the Old Testament in Joseph's day, and the other is Herod's in the New. On both occasions... someone was killed - Pharaoh's baker and John the Baptist.
The Bible, rather, celebrates the "day of one's death"... as in the case of Jesus on the Passover.
However... in the first chapter of Luke... the birth of John the Baptist, Jesus' cousin, is recorded in some detail... among which is the detail that Mary became pregnant with Jesus when John's mother was six months along in her pregnancy.
A close study of this account leads to the conclusion that Mary became pregnant around the time of our "December"... which would have put Jesus' birth sometime in the fall of the year.
Further study of the "census" that Caesar ordered about the time Jesus was due, suggests that he ordered it done when the Jews would have been traveling during the Feast of Tabernacles.
Joseph and Mary had to hole-up in the manger because of all the Jews on the move and no rooms were available anywhere.
Therefore, the likely time of Jesus' birth was in the fall of the year... and it's very likely that He was actually born on the "first day of the Feast of Tabernacles" that year.
As John records: "...the WORD was made flesh, and DWELTamong us..." (John 1:14).
The word John used for "dwelt" is unique among his inspired words... as the best translation for it would better be: "...the WORD was made flesh, and TABERNACLED among us...".
Just food for thought.
summer
No, Jesus was actually born in November.
No the Bible has no reference on what race Jesus actually was. Well, he was born in Israel, so he was born Jewish.
Nobody actually knows!
Yes.
No. The gospel accounts of Jesus' birth do no mention any season.
In a way,yes but no.Jesus was born in Bethlehem in a manger.
Nobody is actually sure when he was born. I figure though that people just needed a set date for when Jesus was born so they could be reverent to god and Jesus by celebrating out saviors birth.
Well advent calenders are all about baby Jesus and his birth also when he was born.
Paul became a Pharisee during Jesus' time. He was actually born a Hebrew of Hebrews, which made him a Pharisee from birth. Paul was one of Jesus' Apostles.
it actually started in the time when Jesus was born by julius caesar in Greece
The Bible does not say exactly where Joseph was born, but because he was a Jew it is assumed that it was Judea somewhere. (Although he was legal father of Jesus by law, he was actually Jesus' stepfather.)
