What do you do if a game in your Wii is stuck?

I would restart it, if it wont turn off, unplug it. If it is still broken, you could take it to a local game place to have it fixed. Also, check the game, see if it works with a different game.

if it froze( for lack of a better word) then you hold down the power button till it tuns off and then turn it back on. If it doesn't seem to be reading the game disk then do the same only you shouldn't have to hold it down.

Sometimes, a Wii game will freeze. Unfortunately, it happens. When the game won't respond nor will the Wii remotes, eject the game. Press and hold the Power button on the Wii console. Next, unplug the Wii. (Generally unplugging the AV cables [red, white, yellow] will do the trick). You will see the screen go black. Wait for about a minute, plug them back in, press/hold the power button and you should be back on the main Wii menu.

What did you do to clean it out? Could you describe the freezing issue in a little more detail(Does the music still play, etc.) Is it with a specific game or all games? Is the system making a lot of noise? Is the fan spinning when in operation?

If this happens once, there is no need to worry; just turn off the power and start again.

If it keeps happening, just follow these steps and it will most likely be fixed:

1. Unplug the DSi if it is charging
2. Close the DSi
3. Turn the volume all the way down without opening it
4. Set the DSi in front of a fan or some place it can cool off
5. Open the DSi and hold down the power button for 6-10 seconds (keep holding it, even after the system turns off)
6. Resume

If neither of these has worked, you may need to send the system to Nintendo or a video game store to have it fixed or replaced.
