That depends completely on what kind of guy he is and what kind of relationship you are leading.
If you are going out for 11 months you should know him rather well, so just think about what will make him happy.
Maybe a traditional valentine's chocolate would be a good present. You make it yourself to show that you are dedicated and as a sign of your love.
Maybe you don't even need to really give him something but he will enjoy if you surprise him by taking him out, dressing up specially, arranging something. Cinema, a dinner, an evening in the green, there's lots you could do. Maybe he would appreciate if you wrote a poem or a song for him.
