It depends on more than Wattage or horsepower. In your question, you also need to mention line Voltage, power factor, and whether single or three-phase. Cable size is based on current, so we need to know everything to calculate current.

Usually you work this out by taking your power which is 15kw = 15,000 watts divided by the voltage, which im presuming is 400 volts. This equals your amps. 37.5 amps is a rough estimation. It all depends though on the type of cable and the distance, so you were taking that 50 metres? Id use 10mm Steel wired armour cable. Because your distance reduces the current it could carry. Speak to someone in an electrical wholesalers, they'll ask what your using it for etc and advise you the best cable size and type.

Depends on the voltage. Say its 400 volts. You would only be pulling under 10 amps. 2.5mm would be nice and safe.
