under the distributor cap there is a pipe bolted to the engine. the radiator hose is attached to it. take those 2 bolts out of that pipe and the thermostat is under it.

find it on the exhaust pipe and cut the pipe before and after it, but then youll need to get a piece of pipe to replace it, otherwise youll have an exhaust leak
The cats (3) are located on each exhaust manifold and on the exhaust pipe after the Y pipe.

Follow the manual (Haynes, Chilton, Ford Factory). After the old manifold is off, clean the mating surfaces. Install a new gasket (no cement). Bolt on the new manifold. Tighten the bolts and nuts to the torque specs in the manual following the procedure in the manual. Bolt it to the exhaust pipe (new gasket also).

Tighten the bolts and nuts to the torque specs in the manual following the procedure in the manual. Bolt it to the exhaust pipe (new gasket also).
