i AM a daughter and i can tell you this; put your self in the shoes of her, the age is most important. if she is a teen, you have to think fashion wise, whats something that is in fashion or style which your daughter will not usually get? converse are in fashion, every one is wearing them besides me. if my dad baught me a pair, it would be the best surprise ever. if you would like to think money wise then i would say something like a charm bracelet, charm bracelets are personnel and most loved :) hope this helps.
