How do you care for newborn puppies?

To care for a new puppy, you must look after it with love. Don't just buy or keep the puppy out of pressure, or sympathy. Look after it. Go see the vet maybe 4 to 6 times a year. Look carefully at what you feed it. Do not over feed the poor creature, keep it warm, make it feel safe in any environment, and don't treat it with cruelty. Teach it what is bad and good, like if he chews up a blanket, show him/her that it is bad. By, not giving it a treat or a pat or a hug, only for a couple of minutes though. If it does something good, do proceed to treat it with care, give him/her a treat, or a hug. Look after it, watch it grow, be happy! Also, if you, for instance, leave out some chocolate, watch it very carefully so the dog does not eat it.

Keep it with the mom in the box until the puppies have opened their eyes. And if you want to hold it, wash your hands because there are some infections that humans can transport to dogs. If you plan to sell the puppies, be sure its at least 3 months old.

wow soooooooo young.pups need to be around their mom usually until 8-12 weeks old.can you bring it back for a couple of weeks.it will make a world of difference for the pups sake. consider it like a newborn baby,it has to be fed the proper food,the correct amount and time.it has to be supervised,if you leave the house it has to have a crate,so it doesn't get into harmful situations around the house.you would be surprised what a pup will find that could injure them. or potty anywhere it wants.it has to go to the vet for his first check-up.i am not sure how much you do or don't know,but the vet will answer many of your questions.it's a job that takes lots of responsibility.ask yourself if you can do this challenge?it takes time for a new pup,you have at least 2-3 weeks of really DEDICATED CARE.oh have a friend go to the bookstore and buy a book,on how to raise a new pup.so you don't miss anything.

First - Vet visit. Shots and deworming.

Crate so they have a safe place (a den) to sleep or to be safe when you cannot watch them 100%. This also aids greatly in house training.


Toys - Nylabones and chew toys like kongs. Puppies love to chew, so give them something other than your shoes to chew on.


Do NOT bring your puppy around unvaccinated dogs, the vets floor, the pet store floor or dog parks or they could be exposed to many illnesses that they are not protected against yet.

Well, puppys and dogs are a huge responsibility and need to be looked after and cared for as much as humans, you will need to by:

A place for the puppy to sleep

Quite alot of dog food

Money to take it to the Vet's if it gets sick ( can cost quite alot in some cases ) Soft dog toys so it wont get bored

has anyone just bought a puppy but is unsure of everything that needs to be done well if yes then here is a list that should help.

:make sure that the puppies are vacined and healthy.

:its a perfect time to look for that perfect pupp.

:now its time to spend some money.

:you need to buy/plenty of chew toys/pupp milk/

dry kibble food/puppy bed/nail clipper/shampoo/small collar and leash/food and water and milk bowl.

:bring you pupp home and its time to set up a bed now these pupps can not be kept outside no matter what.

:making a bed:okay a laundry is perfect .1.clean it and make sure no bugs.dust or anything is there.2.open the woden door but keep the screen door closed and locked.3.lay down a cosy blanket on the floor.4.put down the puppy bed.5.a plent of newspaper should be layered as well.6.put one bowl of milk and one bowl of water and also place som dry food or canned dog food.never ever! feed dogs human or cat or bird or fish food just dog food.7.put plenty of chew toys for hime.thankx.

You feed them take them on a walk daily take them to the vets fed them 3 times a day and play with them so they wont get bored.
