the members of the third estate had no privileges, and played no part in running their country. they had a hard life, and most of them didnt own the land they farmed, they were also expected to serve the king in war & had to pay the taxes, like the gabelle (tax on salt) , tithes & taille
The Sans-cullotes.

There were two kinds of people in the French Revolution, the peasants and aristocrats. The peasants were getting higher prices on bread and the aristocrats, to be blunt, didn't really care. So the peasants came together and tried to overthrow the French government by forming mobs and storming places like, the Bastille and the Palace of Versailles.

Life before agricultural revolution was hard. There were no jobs, killings and ruled by someone that you could not have freedom.
Like the Bastille, it was a grass roots effort and like the Tennis Court Oath, it played a major part in the start of the Revolution.
Cuz tey felt like it

The peasants did not succeed, but the revolt set the stage for future uprisings like the Protestant reformation and the French Revolution.
Because the clergy owned most of the land, and had a majority of the nation's wealth, they were usually driven out of the country or killed by the peasants.

Peasants during the beginning months of the French Revolution were afraid that their landlords would hire groups of thugs to come and destroy all of their crops. There was no plan like this, and it was all a rumour. But the peasants believed it because the Revolution was bringing talk of new rights for the peasants, and the peasants thought that their landlords would never allow this to happen. The peasants responded by burning all of their deeds that they owed to the landowners.
The french revolution was more like a revolution as lt literary says.
life would still be the same as it was back then if the revolution didn't happen. it was kinda like a highschool was back then, the cliques. the rich with rich poor with poor.

Life was difficult for the peasants in the 1500s. Infant mortality was very high and life expectancy was not very high either.
