It was hard to get used to. First off it was hard for the native Americans to stop their culture, their way of life that served them well. They prayed few times everyday. The men became blacksmiths, carpenters or worked on farms. The women made pottery, woven clothes or baskets, and took care of the children. The children had religious lessons and helped out.
