There was no Civil Registration Act of 1837.

The civil regsistration of Births, Marriages and Deaths began in England and Wales in 1837 following the Marriage Act of 1836 (Act of 6 & 7 William IV, chapter 85) and the Births and Deaths Registration Act of 1836 (Act of 6 & 7 William IV, Chapter 86).
