After a little research on this subject because of my heritage, I discovered through several resources and historical pages that the Creek Indians worshiped the sun as their Deity. It is said there was requirement of the sacrifice of the first born male child of a family, done by slaughter and the mother was compelled to watch.

The research is not exhaustive. Always do your own research and you will find the truth.
