the coelophysis
Mammals first appeared around the Late Triassic (200 MYA), alongside the first true dinosaurs. These animals were small, and lived in burrows, and were probably nocturnal. The first mammals appeared during the Cretaceous Period.
The earliest period that dinosaurs existed was the Triassic period, some 225 million years ago. These were not the huge dinosaurs of the later period. Most dinosaurs of that age were small creatures that ate meat and walked on hind legs. Shaaron
Coelophsis was a dinosaur that lived in the Late Triassic Period. The dinosaur is said to have lived in small herds with others.
*CoelophysisA late Triassic theropod, a meat-eater about 9 feet (3 m) long. *CynognathusCynognathus was a wolf-sized reptile that lived during the Triassic period. *DesmatosuchusAn extinct reptile that lived over 200 million years ago. *EoraptorOne of the oldest dinosaurs yet found. A small, primitive, meat-eating dinosaur with sharp teeth. *Fabrosaurus(NOT making that up, haha)A small, primitive plant-eating dinosaur from South Africa. *GerrothoraxAn ancient amphibian that lived over 200 million years ago. *PlateosaurusA late Triassic plant-eater. *PostosuchusPostosuchus is an extinct reptile that lived over 200 million years ago. *ProcompsognathusAn early, small, meat-eating dinosaur from the late Triassic period. *RiojasaurusA large, early, South American, plant-eating dinosaur. *SaltopusA small, fast, early meat-eating dinosaur. *TeratosaurusTeratosaurus was an extinct reptile that lived about 225 million years ago - not a dinosaur. *ThecodontosaurusAn early plant-eating dinosaur from the late Triassic period. I prefer the Jarasic period.. It just makes for better movies ;)hope that helps!
Not much happened really except i think it was climate change and small dinos running around, the size of a chicken. (No im not kidding)
The oldest dinosaur fossils date from the Carnian stage of the Triassic period. That was around 220 million years ago. The first dinosaurs were small carnivores, like Eoraptor, and small, long necked herbivores called prosauropods.
The Mesozoic era is divided into three periods Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous. During the early Triassic, corals appeared. Seed plants dominated the land, in the northern hemisphere, conifers flourished. Glossopteris was the dominant southern hemisphere tree during the Triassic period. Many new dinosaurs appeared during the Jurassic period. Giant plant eating dinosaurs dominated the Earth. carnivores such as Allosaurus and Composognathus were plentiful. Many bird-like dinosaurs also thrived during this period. The Cretaceous period saw the heyday of the dinosaurs. Many new species of dinosaurs evolved during this period. New dinosaurs such as, the deadly t-rex and the extremely large Giganotosaurus appeared for the first time as did Triceratops and many others.
The major events in he Triassic time period are Pangea{the supercontinet}, It follows the largest extinction in history, animals, plants, and reptiles appeared, and when surviors of that event spread and recolonized.
Nobody can know for sure, as there could be an older one discovered tomorrow... or never. The earliest know however, are Eoraptor and Herrerasaurus, from Carnian-age Argentina, 228 million years ago.
The earliest record of mammals is the upper Triassic period. They were very, very small, which helped them avoid predation by dinosaurs of the time. This gave them an evolutionary advantage that resulted in the mammals we know today.
Because the lining of the uterus doesn't simply 'flow' away - it breaks away in small 'clumps' which appear as small clots on a sanitary towel.
