He wrote Wilson's 14 points which gave birth to the writing of the Treaty of Versailles. He also created the League of Nations which suprisingly America doesn't join because it was opposed by many people. The main one being Henry Lodge Cabott.he was very stupid

Wilson said that Germany's policy of using submarines to sink merchant and passenger ships without warning and with no chance of rescuing the people on the sunk boats was inhuman and must stop but that US protests had all been ignored so war against Germany was the only answer. He stated that he knew the horrors of war and the price that America had to pay for it but that is was necessary and necessary for all of the country to stand behind.

He thought the u.s should remain neutral he changed his view however because the u.s. was being defeated by Abraham Lincoln
