• New sites for dropping bombs and for snipers
• New methods of intelligence gathering and sabotage
• Larger, better planes and bombers built with cabin pressure and heat and air cooling
• New ships that ran on fuel instead of steam and at the end of the war nuclear powered subs / and later ships.

• Atomic Energy for communities
• Boats that could land on the shore and drive around (DUCS)
• Higgins boats
• Tanks that could travel over the ocean waves and land on shore
• Better aircraft carriers with the latest and greatest techno gadgets
• Improved methods of creating rations for the armed forces and better tasting foods (although some would disagree with that notion)
• The use of micro film for letters sent overseas, saved on billions of pounds of mail sent to the service men and women.
