Well, what do we know about her? She tries to prevent Montague from getting into the fight with Capulet. She asks Benvolio for news of Romeo. She expresses gladness that he was not involved in the brawl. That summarizes everything she says in the only two lines she says. We know that she dies of grief because of Romeo's banishment. She is a family woman--she is concerned for her husband and son. She is peace-loving, not for reasons of state, but because she doesn't want her family to be hurt. She is especially maternal, since the loss of the presence of her son kills her.
