Yes. Planets are much larger than comets.

That would be Pluto -- and it is not a planet, it is indeed a comet.
From Earth it would be the Sun, which, however not a planet, but a star
they would probably collide with a comet, asteroid, the Sun, or another planet.
The generally accepted order would be Comet, Asteroid, Moon, Planet, Sun. However, there is considerable overlap in sizes among asteroids and moons. Some of the moons of Saturn are fairly small, and the moons of Mars are both smaller than the average asteroid.
Jupiter is a gas giant. HOWEVER, a comet smashed Into it some years back, so that would make it a rocky planet as well.

It would spin out of earths orbit. And most likely hit a planet, star, comet, or keep on going.
In prehistoric times large objects have caused big craters. Whether before impact these would have appeared like comets is a matter for debate. A comet is a celestial body. Anything that enters the earths atmosphere and/or strikes the earth is deemed a meteorite
I would say not because of the comet's course and trajectory of the comet you would need a good telescope to see it.

The planets are in the space. and they are bigger than a bread basket.
A small body that orbits the sun would be either an asteroid or comet. Comets are composed of rock, minerals and ice. They sometimes have tails at the end that extend tens of millions of miles.
they would of found out about asteroids because when the dinosaurs were extinct a massive comet hit earth and it destroyed it and the reason planet earth was created again was because a large enough rock formed into a planet and if the rock is not large enough then it wont form into a planet
That would be a comet.
