Only if installed incorrectly
Uh HUH if they have a LWCO installed
Have you cleaned the filter? Ken
It will not cause low water pressure. It will cause a loss of heated water because the heater will not be able to recover fast enough. It has nothing to do with pressure.
yes it will shut down. the low pressure switch will shut it down.
If you have a new pressurised water system there is a possibility that the added water pressure could cause a leak.
Coolant leak, possible heater core. Suggest to have it pressure tested to find leak.
There are several possibilities. The 2 most common would be the water heater needs replacing, or you need a repipe.
You mean flush the heater core. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hose going to the hearer core. Use a garden hose to flush it in both directions. Use extreme care not to apply too much water pressure or you can cause the heater core to leak. No more than 10 lbs of pressure.
Low coolant? Bad thermostat? Heater core airbound? Heater core restricted or plugged? Defective radiator cap not building sufficient pressure?
if its on a Chevy then everything! Chev o2 sensors are known to do that you just have to keep changing them, or stop buying chevys.
Generally it is about 55 psi . The best way to set it is have a water pressure valve installed on the incoming water line to your house. Too much pressure can cause serious damage to appliances. Water hammer is a comon cause of too much pressure Any Questions e-mail jdroegem@comcast.net
