What would cause the rag-top of a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron convertible to not go up all the way It is about 112 inches short of latching?

This problem is occurring because of one of two things
1. the ragtop has shrunk
2. the fact that some areas go through season change cause the screws that align the top to loosen of tighten. all you need to do is adjust them to align the top.
I believe someone else has a proper explaination for doing so.

If it is like my 94 Lebaron you must remove the right rear tire. Then unscrew the fuel tube,in the gas cap area, and then you must lower the gas tank. You pull the fuel tube out of the tank. It has a rubber gromet so you need to twist the tube until you pull it out- about 8 inches is in the tank. Good luck.
