You would be in ancient Rome. There weren't computers back then, so don't worry about it.
Before that could be answered, it would have to be agreed which gods are false - and that's unlikely to happen soon!
No, although there are probably many who would be happy to make the claim.
The beliefs in many gods is just really to follow them
This question all depends on your point of view. If you have a religion like Christianity, Judaism or Islam then you believe in one Divine Being and believe that he is invincible, therefore he cannot be killed. If you have a religion like Hinduism or Jainism then you believe in many gods but again, being gods, they are invincible and immortal and cannot be killed. If you are atheist or Buddhist then you believe in no god and therefore a god cannot be killed if he/she does not exist. Long story short, you cannot kill God so nothing would happen because it is physically impossible. In some religions gods have killed gods but mortals cannot kill gods so nothing would happen if you killed god because it wouldn't happen.
You are right. Bad things happen to people whether or not they worship God. And just as many good things happen to those who worship other gods. If this tells you that God does not really exist, you are almost there.
No one really knows for sure. Its a mystery.
The chief gods of Greek mythology were commonly referred to as the Pantheon.πολλούς θεούςthis is the way to write 'many gods' in greek.
They had many gods the main ones were the sun, moon, rainbow, lightning, and earth, but they would allow conquered people to keep their gods as long as they added the Inca gods.
People would find different reasons to inflict suffering on others.
the reason many ancient civilizations believed in gods was because they really didn't have much reason for many occurrences. If their was a hurricane or a volcanic eruption, it was because they thought the gods were mad at them. Having gods gave them a reason for things that at the time they couldn't explain.
Egyptains believed in many different gods, sich as a sun god, water god, and many different gods. They would build statues of the gods to worship them.
