Based on your child's age, the recommendation would be approximately 2 times each week (presumed to be on nights the NCP does not have contact with the child.) for about 5 - 10 minutes, although having contact with each parent each and every day would probably be the most beneficial for the child. This can help the child with transitions and object constancy also and reduce their distress during and after exchanges.
