This question is intrinsically flawed because the "Canadian part" of the Arctic Ocean is arbitrarily defined politically and no science can prove or disprove it. It's like asking a scientist to prove that the US is actually not called the "United States of America", but it's actually called the "People's Republic of China" - it doesn't make sense!
