What would you do if you hated a boy but you loved him at the same time and he was really horrible to you and your best friend tells him everything you say about him and everything that's embarrassing?

this is what used to be happening to me. The boy turned out to be a jerk. Just stick with your real friends. Make sure this boy is NOT a jerk first, unlike me.
You are in the same situation with me. And I made a big mistake. The person above is really insensitive. You see, I really liked this boy, (you can call him Shmeg, which is not his real namefor my privacy.) and we had been "friends" since preschool.
Okay, so I threw Lincoln Logs at him in preschool, so what. I continued totease him and (half) pretend I hated him. I always thought I did. That was, until I grew up a bit and turned a little more mature, which is when I began to see him being really nice to everyone and helping this kid who has been having uhh... problems. He was friends with everyone, and he could be considered "popular" even though he was so nice and he would sit with my friends and I, his real friends who weren't exactly "popular" in other's opinion.
Anyways, I realized I liked him. He was always making me laugh, and I couldn't stand how funny and nice he was. But after losing courage to tell him my feelings several times, and writing several love letters that were never delivered, I started to lose hope. I became depressed and sad, and I decided to blame it all on him. I ended up hating him because I loved him, not that I knew I really loved him. I just knew I hated him and I tried to stay away from him.
However, he knows he's my (sorta) friend, so when he saw me all avoiding him and such, he stole my journal. (He sits next to me.) He read a certain entry that said,
"THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO YELL RIGHT NOW! SHMEG IS SUCH A JERK! GAH I HATE HIM AND I HARDLY KNOW WHY! THE THING THAT BOTHERS ME THE MOST IS THAT I LIKED HIM..."
There was more, but he only went that far since he, having a very good conscience, knew that he should read no more. He told one of our friends, and she, being a good friend, told me, despite Shmeg's warning to keep quiet. When she told me, I started laughing.
Why? Well, it was so easy. He finally knew my secret, and I put absoulutely NO effort into it. I felt so good. This is where I am now, it's been a few weeks since that's happened. I still feel pretty good. Really good. I think I'll talk to him pretty soon, I've been avoiding talking about it too long. Or maybe I'll just write something down and bring my journal to school again...
