Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, took his life on April 5, 1994.
He put a shotgun to the roof of his mouth, after injecting large quantities of heroin and pulled the trigger. However there are many theories surrounding his death, the vast majority of which claim Courtney Love to have killed him.
He took his own life on 5th April 1994. The official verdict was death by self-inflicted gunshot wound, although he did have a long history of drug use as well as mental problems.
