It ended in 1994.
It began and ended in 1994.
Rwanda itself!
Yes, it ended in 1994.
First of all, genocide has never ended in Rwanda. For a few years after the Genocide of Rwanda, the U.N. only "tranquilized" the genocide. There is still genocide happening over in Rwanda still to this day. Anyone who has told you differently has not seen the news recently. The U.N. is to this day still trying to get rid of genocide for good. Actually this is incorrect. The genocide is not still happening in Rwanda. It started in April 1994 and ended in July 1994 and cost the lives of over 1 million people. I went to Kigali this summer which is the capital of Rwanda and experienced a very peaceful country. Anyone who believes it is still happening is lost and needs to research the genocide more clearly.
No. Rwanda is a country where a genocide occurred in the 1990s.
no their was no one who got punished for the Rwanda genocide.
Was Rwanda governmentally organized during the Genocide?
Rwanda
This was when the Rwanda Genocide took place (in Rwanda). This was also a year during the Bosnian War (1991-1995), when there was ethnic cleansing of the Bosnian Bosniak and Croat population by the Bosnian Serb population.
The Rwandan Genocide began in April of 1994 between the two main ethnic groups in Rwanda: the Hutus and the Tutsis. Its estimated that 800,000 of the minority Tutsis were killed by the Hutu militia during the 100 days that the genocide lasted. http://www.unitedhumanrights.org/Genocide/genocide_in_rwanda.htm
