There is no fixed date for the GMAT test because it is conducted online.
YOu can take the test any time of the year except for public holidays. It takes 3-4 months of preparation for the test.
For scoring well it is necessary that you stress on each section individually..
You have to know what are your strengths n weaknesses...and work accordingly,
ESSAY:
My suggestion is to think for a while, write down whatever comes to you, and only then start typing.
MATHS:
The math section is nothing extraordinary,mostly you will find question s similar to the ones you encountered in your preparatory tests. So,take your time,practice hard and you can easily sail through it,without having to worry a lot.
ENGLISH:
