Maybe the LED has gone, maybe a fuse has blown. Does your DS charge? does it power on? is it JUST the charge light that doesn't come on? Need a bit more info :)
the tocco lite sadly doesnt come with a drawing panel ... however you can download it for free but im not sure how ... hope that helped! x
no a burnt out headlight will not cause a check engine light but if you go to most of the part places they will check the check engine light for free
It will not charhe since probably the wall outlet is broken or the charger is broken
Most likely the fuse is blown for the dome light on the Silverado if the light doesn't come on.
1.charge it 2.if that doesnt work bring it back to the shop
Probably not, get the check lite read with a reader and deal with the problems it indicates.
Typically that means that the alternator is not functioning properly and is unable to maintain the battery charge. Many auto parts retailers will test the charging system for you, free of charge. If the battery light is on, have the charging system tested immediately, before your battery goes dead and you are unable to start the car.
No. It is used only in advertising or in sarcasm. 'Lite' is a copywriters' spelling of light, in the context of weight. The version 'lite' was designed for marketing and advertising purposes to imply that a product or the contents of a product are less fattening or harmful than the normal version. Using a word that makes you think 'light' but does not literally say 'light' saves the product producer and marketer the necessity of proving a claim. Lite has come into such common use that it is now used to refer to something intellectually or emotionally less than it might otherwise be; it has come in to such common use that it is often used interchangeably with 'light'; it has come in to such common use that some people don't even know that 'light' is the correct spelling. If it hasn't already, it will soon become a word you will find in the dictionary.
The bulb is blown or someone has removed it.
Yes, yes it does :)
you need a scan tool, to hook up to the data link connector, if the light goes out it could still come back on, if the light comes back on after you reset the lite, then you have a hard fault, which means you will have to have the problem addressed. you will have an automatic fail going through emmissions if the lite is on.
It is the generator/charging circuit lite. Faults with generator, voltage regulator, etc. will cause this lite to come on. Will sometimes flicker at low RPMS. The first thing to check is the fan belt--if it's loose or missing, the red light will come on. This is also your "cooling system" light, because the fan is bolted to the end of the generator shaft.
