'Shooting stars' are much more common than you might think, particularly in summer. My best suggestion would be to find an area with little light pollution and to just observe the stars on a clear night. There are certain dates where there are many meteors which seem to radiate from a particular constellation; these are called "meteor showers." Many local news programs routinely announce these, or you can check the link below for a list. _____________________ Because of the way the Earth moves and spins in its orbit around the Sun, times between midnight and sunrise generally bring more visible meteors than the hours between sunset and midnight. That's because the sunrise terminator is the "leading edge" of the Earth, and you see more meteors going forward than when looking backward (in the hours after sunset). Pick one of these common showers, the Perseids are generally good, and find a dark area away from city lights, and lie out on the ground watching the sky. I recommend from about 3AM to sunrise. I can almost guarantee you'll see some.
If you go outside
-- at night
-- on any night
-- when the sky is clear
-- far from city lights
-- let your eyes get accustomed to the dark
-- get comfortable
-- watch the sky for a while
you can usually see one every 20 to 30 minutes. The chances are
always somewhat better after midnight.
no, shooting stars can come at any time in the year, however it does help if there is no cloud cover for you to be able to see them. however, you can look up times when there will be an asteroid shower somewhere.
This year. Yesterday, in fact. No, today. if you go out tonight after midnight, lay on the ground and look up, there's a good chance that you will see a shooting star tonight.
Meteors (shooting stars) hit the Earth by the thousands every day.
Each shooting star is a unique event. Each such object enters and burns up in the atmosphere only once.
Shooting stars are more correctly known as meteors. They are not stars. They are composed of metal or stone or a combination of both. They are present around the earth in outer space and occasionally run into us and burn up in the atmosphere due to friction because of their high velocity. Sometimes they are big enough to hit the ground before they burn up completely. These are called meteorites.
If instead you were asking how many meteors fall in a given time period, the answer is about 25,000,000 dust or sand grain sized or larger objects a day. Of these, 60 to 200 tons worth strike the surface of the earth, about 25% of that on land.
You can see shooting stars any day of the year. Sometimes you are lucky, sometimes not. Just go outdoors for several nights, and look up at the sky an hour or more every night; you should see one pretty soon.
some one please tell me cause i dont know?!?
That's not any consistent number, but it's certainly in the thousands.
August 12th from 11 o clock to after 12. It will also appear on august 13th at early dawn.
Tens of thousands of objects hit the Earth's atmosphere every day, and you can see meteors any clear night of the year.
It is possible to see hundreds of shooting stars in a single night, during a meteor shower.
From the earth we see comets as shooting stars, because theres a tail to it.
A lot of things, location (latitude & longitude), year, season, time of day all these things can change the stars you see.
Both shoting stars you see are which we know as meteors are real and were captured on fim as they shot the movie.
That is very likely - shooting stars are not at all rare events. If you look at the sky at night for a few hours each night, you are likely to see several eventually, anywhere, at any time of the year.

You can see shooting stars anytime at night, when there are stars in the sky. Make sure you have no tools in your hand at the time of the shooting star, or you won't be able to wish on it!

That might mean that there has been a meteor shower. There are certain days of the year when Earth passes through what is believed to be debris of comets; as a result, you'll see several shooting stars on such days.
Shooting stars come around 30 times each night. Make sure you don't have any tools equipped, and when you see a shooting star, press A. Your character will make a wish. If you miss the first star you see, get ready cause the shooting stars come in groups. Next day in the mail you will get a furniture item attached to a letter from a mysterious "Wishy the Star".

At least once a night. Make sure you don't have anything equiped because when you see the shooting star press a few times. The next day there should be a letter from Wishy the star.
Shooting stars are not stars at all. They are tiny bits of debris, usually rock or dust. They completely burn up in our atmosphere (most of them) and so when you see one 'vanish', it is, in fact, gone.
You can see shooting stars on any night of the year. Once it is dark enough, ideally away from street lights and other light sources, you have a chance of seeing them. They are caused by dirt and dust burning up in our atmosphere. At certain times of year we go through dirtier parts of space, resulting in more meteors and what we call meteor showers.
if you see a shooting star press a to pray
Stars are there day and night. During the day the sun, which is a star, is so bright that you cannot see the other stars. So that is why we only see stars at night. As we orbit the sun we do see different stars throughout the year. So ones that are not visible on a particular day will be visible at night at another time of the year.
There are shooting stars, but at one minute you look for one, and next you don't then it goes past you that fast you can't see it but some people can.
