When did Romania begin?
it started in2011 Curious answer! Historians believe that the Romanian people (and the ancient form of the language) was born in the 9th century. For approximately 1000 years, the regions forming present-day Romania were divided into three main principalities. Two of them (Wallachia and Moldavia) were united in 1859, later adopting the name of Romania. At the end of WW1 (1918), the remainder of the territories lived by Romanians united with Romania forming Greater Romania.
