JP.Rooney.real name,Martin Hasson, has been painting since he was 3 years old. He has painted watercolours and oils sucessfully and sold his work under his own name for most of his life. But changed his name when he created The Rooney Paintings,in the 1990s.He has been painting both of his styles of work ever since.We have a collection of his very early work from when he was a child and teenager,that his parents kept. He has painted and sold an extensive body of work,from his early years and still creates and paints to the present day.He is now 64 years old and we have been married for 41 years.I have photographed the majority of all his work in this time ,as it was completed, as a record for the future.The Rooney Paintings alone, total around 30000. I have lost count of the amount of his previous work, i have on record. He has been asked many times to allow,The Rooneys. to put into prints and has refused to agree to it. It opens the door to alot of unscurpulous people out there,to make money at an Artists expense.He has also never signed the rights of his work over to anyone and never signed a contract with any buyer giving the rights away.
