If you mean the apostrophe (the key to the right of the colon/semicolon on the keyboard), there are two uses in English: (1) It stands in the place where one or more letters have been removed to make a contraction, as "can't" for "can not." (2) It is used to make a possessive, and in "Sue's brother."
The apostrophe has two major uses in written English. 1 To indicate that a noun is in the genitive case. Singular nouns, and plurals not already ending in s form the genitive by adding 's, for example the woman's hat and the women's room. Singulars ending in a sibilant sound gain a syllable in the genitive, for example my boss's office. Plural nouns ending in s add the apostrophe alone, for example the Boys' Club.
2 To indicate missing letters. For example the contractions isn't for is not, and you'd for you would; and in words like fo'c'sle, pronounced folk-sul but properly spelt forecastle.
A third, minor usage is in writing certain Gaelic names like O'Connor; and in time-telling, for example ten o'clock. Some writers may use the apostrophe for the plural of written symbols, for example mind your p's and q's but it is unnecessary and therefore wrong.
You use an ellipsis when you want to indicate an omission or a trailing off of speech.
You use "do" when you are asking a question or wyou are asking a command/order.
Example sentences for the noun 'use':I must thank Jim for the use of his car.The use of foul language is not permitted here.Example sentences for the verb 'use':You may use my pen to write the note.We use English to answer these questions.
You would use doesn't any time you would use does not. ie. My cat does not use a litter box. -> My cat doesn't use a litter box.
Use sua cabeça, or Use seu cérebro,
Use "I" when it is the subject of a verb. At all other times, use "me."
Writers use slang because real people use it.
If you would use 'I' in the singular, then use 'you and I'. If you would use 'me', then use 'you and me'.
