It really does not take that long. As long as there were no problems with you getting the account (they will notify if there were) then it could be as little as two business days. Sometimes it takes up to 5 business days depending on where you live and if the phone is in stock. When I got mine I had the phone in two business days. Business days are Monday thru Friday not including Federal Holidays. Hope this Helps

∙ 12y agoIt depends on the day of the week the replacement is ordered. My replacement phone was provided by Asurion (I believe this is Verizon's default phone insurance provider). They generally use next-day shipping. I've used the service twice. The first time was on a weekday, and I received the phone the next day.
The second time my phone was broken on the Saturday before a Monday holiday, so the replacement could not be shipped until Tuesday. From filing my claim to receiving the replacement took 4 full days. That's not Verizon's fault or Asurion's, just the nature of the situation.
