When i turn the hot water in the tub on low and introduce a little cold to it it is finebut if i turn the hot on more forceful it turns cold on meSame when i use the shower diverter maybe any ideas?

We had the same problem and all my mom did was turn on the hot water some way shower or sink and wait 10 minutes and bang the heater. If that doesn't work then try calling your service person.

Depending where is has broken off, depends to what extent of how much you will have to replace, but worse case scenario is, inside there is a cartridge that has a little lever that the diverter handle attaches too. This whole cartridge needs to be replaced. Depending on the make, it can be costly.
