First of all i gotta say that people like to mess with this website, I don't do this im smart and i know people at school need this stuff so.......... You get the disorder making you not see the colors red, blue, or have a black and white vison, It's mostly found in males because males have only X chromosomes and color blindness is found in an X chromosome. In conclusion you cant find color blindness before birth.

Does colorblidness apper in brith or later on in life?

Color blindness is genetic and so is present at birth. There are three types of color-blindness, also known as color vision defect. The first is red-green color blindness and is the most common. The second is blue-yellow and the third is complete lack of color vision. For each type of color blindness, rather than seeing the colors as they are, one would see varying degrees of intensity of the particular color, or not see the color at all, resulting in shades of brown or grey. The gene for color blindness is carried on the X chromosome, therefore more males than females are affected.

Are all birth defects recognisable at birth?

Not all birth defects are detected at birth, such as, for instance, Spina Bifida Occulta, a mild form of Spina Bifida which is often not detected until the person has an X-ray or other test that reveals the presence of the defect. But even that canbe detected at birth, if the child were to undergo such an X-ray or other test at that time. I know a person who was unaware that he had Spina Bifida Occulta until he had a spinal X-ray at the age of 65. Another common birth defect that sometimes is not detected at birth is a heart defect that causes a heart murmur, which may be detected later by a careful doctor while listening to the person's heart.
