First, ensure that the soil has the correct PH - before planting in any garden it is a great idea to send a soil sample off to test - I was shocked to see how high my phosphorus content was when I had mine tested and had to amend my foliage with an iron spray.
Azaleas actually tolerate wet (not too wet) soil - they "like their feet wet". Depending on your soil, clay or sandy, will help determine the amount you water. The absolute best method is sticking your finger into the soil a few inches away from the root of the plant to test for moisture. Do not overfeed azaleas - maybe once in the spring to encourage more blooms, but not to excess.
I watered my newly planted azaleas every 3 days - watered the hole that was dug really well, planted the plant, watered again really well and then again after 3 days - but sometimes 4 days - again, using the moisture test with my finger.
Hope this helps you!
This depends on the type of Azalea.
Evergreen azaleas are best planted in March/April in the Northern Hemisphere.
Deciduous azaleas can be planted anytime while the leaves are off.
This of course does not apply to container grown plants that can be planted at anytime. Remember to water well for about six months after moving.

No, like all flowering plants, azaleas possess xylem and phloem, i.e. vascular tissue.
Azaleas come from seeds or from rooting cuttings. They are not a bulb plant and are a part of the rhododendron family.

Azaleas must be grown in an ericaceous soil.
To get rid of fungus on azaleas you have to remove the infected leaf. If all the leaves have fungus on them, you will need to remove the whole plant.
After flowering. Unless the plants have outgrown their space it is better not to prune them. You may lose the next years flower.
Azaleas generally survive year-to-year, unless you live in a geography where winter brings hard freezes.
African Violets and Azaleas are flowers. Alyssum, Aster and Amaryllis also are flowers.
The best time to plant them is in the beginning of April, before the 10th.
i think the best time to plant them is around November to give them time to grow
Your area is great for the azalea. I would make sure that you have a moist environment for them in a shaded area and I would recomend that you use a Mushroom compost soil to plant them in. Make sure that you mix the soils well and fertilize with Holly Tone. Azaleas love acidic conditions.
False Antwerp is best known for it's harbor and diamonds.
Palatka Azaleas was created in 1936.
The summer time is the best to plant marigolds. :)
