DVD Release:
The season 4 DVD set will be released on Jun 2 in the US and on Jul 6 in the UK. Most other countries that have completed the airing of season 4 should also have the DVD available sometime this summer.
SEASON 5:
Prison Break was not renewed. There will be no season 5.

Due to the Writer's strike, there are only 13 episodes which have currently been produced for the third season. Although the strike was resolved on the 12th of February it is still unknown if, or when more episodes will be produced. Rumors around the net claim Prison Break Season 4 will be back around October. Sorry for the bad news... K

Today is April 2, 2009. There are 6 remaining Prison Break episodes in Prison Break's 4th season. Fox announced the Prison Break series will end with the completion of season 4 which will have its usual 22 episodes. Prison Break returns from hiatus on Friday, April 17, 2009 to air its final 6 episodes ending with a double episode series & season finale on May 15th. Seasons 1, 2, & 4 will have a full 22 episodes. Season 3: only 13 episodes as it was affected by the Screenwriter's strike.
