Will revelation happen in the future?

No one knows when the revelation or the rapture is going to happen except for God. Baptist know it is going to be soon though because The Bible gives us clues such as... . Children will start being rebellious and disobedient towards their parents. . Their will be false prophets meaning people who say they are Christ when biblically they aren't and can't be.

According to scripture, only God and Jesus know when it will occur. Men have looked through the Bible for centuries looking for a hint or an answer, and every answer they have come up with had nothing come to fruition.

"The Revelation" is already here. The prophetic book [The Revelation; Apocalypse] is complete from its salutation informing us of its purpose: "...to show unto His [Jesus'] servants things which must shortly come to pass..." (Rev.1:1) - to its prophetic conclusion of the Day of the Lord [Jesus' return to the earth] and God's plan: "...IT IS DONE..." (Rev.21:6).

If the question is asking "when will the events portrayed in the book of Revelation see fulfillment?" From the overview of global events happening now... the world should see it soon.

"Globalization" is the goal of the nations today... the uniting of all the nations of the earth into one economic and industrial system.

Jesus says the prophesied "four horsemen" of Revelation are the day-to-day plagues of man: false religions, wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes... will grow into the Great Tribulation - man's final attempt to unite the world under one government. Of these horsemen, Jesus says:

"...see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet... All these are the beginning of sorrows [woes, tribulation]..." (Matt.24:6-8).

We are beginning to see, now, concentrated efforts on the part of the nations of the world TO UNITE.

Jesus says that the early stages of that unity upon which the nations will find common ground will be a pointed hatred... the arrest, persecution, prosecution and conviction of any who USE HIS NAME in public.

"...THEN shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and YE SHALL BE HATED OF ALL NATIONS FOR MY NAME'S SAKE." (Matt.24:10)

This is found in Revelation immediately following the four horsemen in chapter 6. It's the "fifth seal"... which is the Great Tribulation that Jesus describes in Matthew 24:9-29.

The world isn't quite there yet... but the signs are becoming more visible, as hatred over Jesus' name uttered in public places... even and especially in America... smacks of ominous prophetic fulfillment not too far off.

The main body of the book of Revelation is about the "Day of the Lord" - the "seventh seal." It represents the "return of Jesus Christ to earth with the Kingdom of God." That's what Jesus' servants need to know about.

But, two other seals precede it, the Great Tribulation [seal 5], and the Heavenly Signs [seal 6] the darkening of the sun and moon, falling stars to earth, etc... just before Jesus returns.

We can only take one sign at a time as they develop. Jesus says the first thing to watch for for the early stages of the Great Tribulation [the next event], brought on by man's religions, wars, famines, etc., is the global persecution by ALL the nations UNITED AGAINST THOSE WHO USE HIS NAME!!!

It's starting. The prophetic events of the Revelation of Jesus Christ have been an ongoing thing. The horsemen have been riding for centuries. Sometimes it's tough to see. But sometimes, events stick out.

And in this modern, "with it" world of political correctness and religious tolerance... the world seems to have forgotten that those who use Jesus' name, too, are supposed to be "tolerated"... not persecuted and arrested. But, for some reason... Jesus' name is different.

The events of Revelation are coming. And they are happening.
