People's actions are influenced by the personal meanings they associate with the things they encounter. These meanings are shaped by individuals' past experiences, beliefs, and values, which in turn guide their behaviors and decisions. Ultimately, people act in ways that are consistent with how they understand and interpret the world around them.
Can i answer it based on my own opinion? For me, everyday i encounter new things and also i encounter things which other people knows already but i do not. So in this regards, that's the time i tried to look at wiki and search its meaning, origin etc. Wiki is very broad that it discusses many things about the subject which you cannot find in dicitionary and encyclopedia. It is a combination of history, statistics and reality. =) Thanks to WIKI ;)
