Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man can come to the Father but by me." In other words confess your state of sinfulness - that we all share - and accept the atoning forgiveness, grace, and salvation offered by the only purely righteous man who has ever walked this earth (as both a man as as God incarnate). Then, and only then, will you inherit eternal life and can share the presence of God in his heaven. (Also, see or Google 'Bible Gateway')

AnswerIt depends on who or what is the "YOU". If the "YOU" is the body, then when we die the body revert back to its mineral and chemical components and become foods & fertilizer for others and rise up no more. This agrees with The Bible;

Job 7:9 As the cloud is consumed and vanishes away: so he that goes down to the grave shall come up no more.

Job 14:12 So man lies down, and rises not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

Job.20:7 Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung:

But if the "YOU" is a Spirit, then it cannot die and may be reborn as other person. This is taught in the Bible:

For all the prophets and the law have prophesied until John. And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who was to come. (Matt. 11:13-14)

In the above passage, Jesus clearly identifies John the Baptist as the reincarnation of Elijah the prophet. Later in Matthew's gospel Jesus reiterates it.

And the disciples asked him, saying, "Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?"

But he answered them and said, "Elijah indeed is to come and will restore all things. But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him, but did to him whatever they wished. So also shall the Son of Man suffer at their hand."

Then the disciples understood that he had spoken of John the Baptist." (Matt. 17:10-13)

After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus ...

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus gave them orders not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

They kept the matter to themselves, discussing what "rising from the dead" meant. And they asked him, "Why do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?" Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijah does come first, and restores all things." "Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected?"

"But I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done to him everything they wished, just as it is written about him." (Mark 9:9-13)

The passage above describes the disciples seeing the spirit of Elijah and wondering again about Elijah's role. Jesus again identifies John to be the reincarnation of Elijah.

ANSWER

All the above is a load of crap fed by Christians and Catholics who are to afraid to face the reality of death. You will get the same kind of crap from most religions. You know what it was like before you were born? That nothingness/non-existence? That is what happens when you die, you go back to nothingness, people just like to believe this kind of thing because they're to scared to accept that they will go back to not existing.

ANSWER

Whether or not you believe in God, if you don't accept Christ as Lord and Savior, then you're going to hell.

People believe diffrent things, I am a christian and according to us our spirit does go to heaven. We believe that after we die we do go to heaven and we sing and praise with the Lord, but i don't know about other religions.

Answer:

Scripture says:

Ecclesiastes 12:7New King James Version (NKJV)

7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,

And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

But this spirit isn't 'alive' in the human sense - it's more like a computer memory chip awaiting the restart at the Judgement process. The Bible uses the metaphor of 'sleep' describing the state of the dead:

Ecclesiastes 9:5New King James Version (NKJV)

5 For the living know that they will die;

But the dead know nothing,

And they have no more reward,

For the memory of them is forgotten.

The Bible is quite clear that no man but one has gone to Heaven as the firstborn of many bretheren:

John 3:13New King James Version (NKJV)

13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

And after the Millennial Rule, the Scripture says the Father and Heaven will come to the New Earth to live amongst His new family of sons and daughters (see Revelation 21 all):

Revelation 21:3New King James Version (NKJV)

3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

Do tigers go to heaven?

Yes tigers do go to heaven because they have a soul. In fact all animals go to heaven because they all have a soul! By: Elizabeth They don't go to heaven. because in Genesis 2:7 says And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul. So this say MAN became to be a LIVING soul. so we are souls, there is no soul inside us. And there is no soul in a animal, it is a soul. No offence By: Santrate

If there are no cats in heaven?

If there are no cats in heaven, then it wouldn't be much of a heaven. I believe that all living creatures have souls. A soul is energy, energy cannot be destroyed. So, it has to go somewhere! I believe that a cat's soul carries on into the afterlife.

If there is a heaven and if people have souls, then a born again Christian's soul goes to heaven, just as the souls of other Christians do. If there is no heaven, then it makes no difference to be a born again Christian.
